This page is under construction and will host the story of Pauline Mary Purdy - as told by herself and by her children.   The above picture was taken in the Best Buy Store in the summer of 1998 as Bill was examining a Digital Camera that he was thinking of purchasing.  I love this picture of mom.  At this time she was in a state of emotional turmoil - having had to leave her precious home in Fargo and placed in WovenHearts Assisted Living, and being under tremendous stress from Court Hearings to have her placed under County Conservative Control.  Despite of her sorrow, when asked by Bill she put on "a happy face" for the camera.  A short time later she suffered a heart attack as a result of all the stress of the court procedures.  Reported by son William S. Purdy on what would have been her 84th birthday, April 14, 2001, if she were still alive.   WSP on 4/14/01
